Police appeal for information on serious assault of Stirchley councillor and sister

Police are appealing for information about an assault on Cllr Luke Roberts and his sister outside Pussycats nightclub in Wellington on Saturday night.

Luke was left in a coma after the attack but we are told that he has now come out of it and is in intensive care. Hopefully he'll be back on his feet (and skateboard) soon. He's done a lot of good work with young people in Stirchley and Brookside, trying to keep them on the straight and narrow.

If you have any information please call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or West Mercia Police on 101, quoting reference 32S of October 18th.
